We are looking for a confident and motivated Tapered Insulation Designer who enjoys the challenge of building our reputation for our Surrey, BC Home Office.

Responsibilities

• Blueprint reading (architectural, structural, mechanical)
• Good computer knowledge
• Visit plan room as needed to download information and create files
• Work well with others (Roofers, Consultants, Architects and Co-workers)
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Be able to access roofs via ladder and other safe methods and have no fear of heights (site roof top measuring is required). Therefore, a valid driver’s license and vehicle should be in place).
• Will need to learn basics of roofing principles, codes, etc. as they pertain to your work
• Ability to read and interpret specifications
• Attain clarifications on project requirements as needed
• Create tapered insulation designs (generically and as detailed shop drawings) and quotes
• Process orders with our inside sales team and other Branches as needed
• Ability to identify problems and resolve as needed
• Must be organized to manage the constant workload
• Perform all general duties as they relate to your work and as requested by your Manager
